Candidates for this exam should be able to recognize and write syntactically correct
\nJavaScript code that will logically solve a given problem and use data types supported by
\nJavaScript.<\/p>\n

Candidates are expected to have at least 150 hours of instruction or hands-on experience
\nwith the JavaScript programming language. Candidates should be familiar with JavaScript
\nfeatures and capabilities, and understand how to write, debug, and maintain well-formed,
\nwell-documented JavaScript code.<\/p>\n

To be successful on the test, the candidate is also expected to have the following
\nprerequisite knowledge and skills:<\/p>\n

\u2022 8th grade reading skills
\n\u2022 Algebra I
\n\u2022 Fundamental knowledge of HTML
